a crazy day @ work

after spending almost the whole day to fix the server, we came to the conclusion …

- my co-worker: “OK!  After much sweat, back ache and a little blood I got a working chassis, 48GB of RAM and the damn thing is booting.stay tuned for a successful ssh so I can go home.LOL”
- me: “Any luck ?”
- my co-worker: “Alright after sending that last email I went back to the server to find that the sticky that I wrote the new MAC on was gone from the PDU I stuck it to.  After searching all around I found it under a rack in the next isle.  I have now updated the config files for eth0 and eth1 and the server is rebooting.if it doesn’t come online and is able to ssh into it can I pretty please take it out back and shoot it!!! ”
