Bio
Welcome to my personal website!
My name is Trung Nguyen, a geek (@!@), Computer Science & Biotechnology college student, living in Silicon Valley, San Jose city – California.
My philosophy in life is “Life’s too short to take it the same way!”
In 2004 after high school, I joined military – Navy to have money for college later. Four years around the world have gone by so fast. I was there to help people at Indonesia when Tsunami happened in 2005, two times duty deployed to Persian Gulf. I traveled to Kingdom of Bahrain, Dubai, Singapore and Australia.
But military life is not for me, I finally come back college to continue pursuing my dream, to graduate college and help out my family.I was born and grew up in Vietnam, but graduated high school here in U.S and served military left a big impact in my life.
My major study is Bioinformatic – a computer science with special field in Biotechnology. Realizing my only skill strength is computer but using its power to serve human-being medicine has fascinated me. Beside school, I also have a full time job. Founding myself exhausted of work and school all the time, but I am proud of what I am today.
I worked at Intel – Santa Clara during 2008-2009 as technical service contractor. Participated at PVE (Platform Validation Engineer) department helped me gain lots of knowledge in computer hardware back in the time. Like everywhere else in the world economy crisis 2009, my job got outsource to oversea so I also recently lost my job.
Struggling to find a new job, I was interviewed by Google and Cisco but not qualified because of lacking experience. Finally I found a job, currently working at Level 1 NOC (Network Operation Center) , doing network technical support (Jr. Linux Administrator) at a U.K company name Autonomy/Zantaz.
My hoppy was also hacking in Linux, UNIX system. Wanna be an open source developer just to ease the computer geeky bug inside me. For me computer programming/developing is an art , not a science.
This website have all my personal stuffs from research programming techniques to blog, family & friends pictures, music and life journal.
Have fun and take care everybody! (^-^)
